Rocco Forte Astoria hotel in St. Petersburg presented 90 renovated Deluxe and Superior Deluxe rooms. Reconstruction of the rooms was accomplished this summer and was devoted to the 100th anniversary of the hotel, which will be celebrated in 2012. Rooms were designed by famous Italian designer Olga Polizzi, who is creating concept of interiors for Rocco Forte hotels. Renovated rooms combine modern design trends with classic elements of the décor, rooms provide a comfortable stay for two - they are all equipped with comfortable beds in double or twin category. All rooms have wireless and Internet access, hardwood floors, black marble countertops, linen bedspreads and drapes.

The new deluxe hotel is set to be part of the Krasnaya Polyana winter sports area, which is due to be completed in time for the 2014 Winter Olympics. By then, 59 ski lifts should be up and running, providing access to around 200km of ski pistes.
Swissôtel Hotels and Resorts already has a presence in Russia, having run Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy, Moscow for many years, and soon guests will be able to get the opportunity to stay in the hotel chain's first ski resort in Sochi, Russia.
About 160 elegant rooms and suites, 6 penthouses, several restaurants and bars, as well as a spa and fitness centre are planned for the new hotel.
It is an exciting project, especially given that Krasnaya Polyana is going to be comparable in terms of infrastructure and atmosphere to the most famous mountain resorts in the Alps.

The Moscow Vega Hotel & Convention Center in Izmailovo joined the Best Western International hotel chain that comprises more than 4,000 hotels in 82 countries.

The Vega hotel was originally built in anticipation of the 1980 Olympics and remodeled in 2007. The three-plus star property features three on-site restaurants, a coffee shop, and lobby bar. The hotel welcomes more than 190,000 visitors to its conference center with 15 separate meetings spaces. The hotel also features four guest room styles, a business center and fitness facility featuring Turkish baths and a Finnish sauna.

The Best Western Vega Hotel & Convention Centre becomes the largest Best Western Hotel in the World and the first in Russia. Best Western Vega Hotel & Convention Centre is located in Izmaylovo Village, one of Moscow's most picturesque regions.
