October 10, the eve of the birthday of the famous Italian tenor, on the stage of Concert Hall "October" will be held a concert in memory of Luciano Pavarotti.The idea of the concert belongs to Pavarotti's widow - Nicoletta Mantovani. This evening will unite the stars of modern opera and all the best students of the great maestro. They will perform the most famous opera arias of Pavarotti's repertory accompanied by a symphonic orchestra.

One of the major attraction of St.Petersburg  - Summer Garden is going to be opened for the first visitors in May 2012 after 3 years of renovation. The necessity to restore the Garden was initiated by the time elapsed at the 21st century, since it has lost its unrepeatable features, created by Peter the Great himself.

Hilton Worldwide Company has announced that two hotels will be opened in St.Petersburg in 2014: Hilton and Hampton by Hilton.  Hotels are going to be constructed in international congress and exhibition center ExpoForum.
The Hotels' complex will contain large areas for meetings and exhibitions, as well as office buildings, parking and shopping centers. Hotels will be built on the Pulkovo highway, near airport and next to developing business areas. 
Hilton Saint Petersburg Expoforum will suggest 241 rooms including 21 suites, an all-day-dining restaurant-buffet, lobby bar, business and fitness centers with indoor swimming pool, an area of​ more than 1500 square metres for holding events. Hotel Hampton by Hilton Saint Petersburg Expoforum will suggest 210 rooms, conference facilities and a fitness center.
Currently Hilton Worldwide is represented in Russia by Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya Hotel, Hilton Garden Inn Perm and Double Tree by Hilton in Novosibirsk. The company recently announced signing of a contract for construction of the Hampton by Hilton Voronezh hotel, which is scheduled to open in 2013.
