The exhibition of French Artists is held in Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, Moscow from 20th of September, 2011 till 20th of November, 2012. 28.09.2011 18:00

The Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow has opened the exhibition Parisian School with works by Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso and other artists who painted in Montparnasse in the early 20th century.
The exposition presents drawings and sculptures by fifty authors - from Modigliani to Man Ray and Brassai - as well as their photos. Lots of them generated new tendencies and styles of painting, such as surrealism, expressionism, and cubism.
A separate hall is allocated for works by Chaim Soutine and Amedeo Modigliani, who were friends. Special attention at the exhibition is given to the collection Musée d'Art et d'Histoire du Judaïsme.
